Steel cap is an important insulating protection component in the power system, mainly used to protect power equipment from mechanical damage and environmental impact.
Insulation function: prevent current leakage and ensure the safety of power transmission; Mechanical protection: avoid damage to insulators by external physical impact; Corrosion protection: extend service life through surface treatment such as hot-dip galvanizing.
Material and process: The main materials are ductile iron, malleable cast iron or ductile iron, with a tensile strength of more than 70kN; The surface treatment adopts hot-dip galvanizing process, and the zinc layer thickness reaches 86μm, which meets the corrosion resistance requirements.
The steel cap is widely applicable to overhead transmission lines, distribution power networks, substations, high-voltage power equipment and outdoor power engineering projects. It provides reliable insulation and mechanical protection for power fittings in outdoor harsh environments.
